The Archons Unmasked

IV·5 · The Cosmic Realm

The Transmission

What or who have you given your powers away to, dear one? You ask it like a victim's question. We ask it like an inventory. No feeder ever took from you at gunpoint — the cup was handed over, bit by bit, experience by experience, and told to keep coming back. Unmasked, every archon is the same small thing: an appetite wearing your permission. Call in what is yours tonight — and see what at that table cannot survive your looking.

The Shadow Whisper

When this message is being refused, it refuses in one of two dialects. The victim's: they are too strong — I am controlled, none of this is my choice — which sounds like suffering and works like surrender, for helplessness is the feeder's favorite dish, and a soul convinced it holds no power will never audit where its power went. And the denier's: nothing feeds on me; I chose all of this freely — spoken, so often, mid-feeding. Hear the ancestors' one test, and apply it without mercy: if it drains you daily and you defend it — who exactly is speaking, you or it?

Sit With It

Tonight, by one lit flame, take the inventory your seed demands: one page, two columns — what fills me and what feeds on me. Write until both are honest. Then choose ONE feeder — one — and cut its very next feeding: the scroll skipped, the argument refused, the drink poured out, the no said. As you do it, say: "I take back what is mine. I feed my own fire now." You do not do this alone — the council stands behind you as you take it back. That is what this whole realm is for.
