Dreamers of the Southern Skies
The Transmission
You asked us to teach you trust — then posted a guard at every gate we came through. Grace is not earned by vigilance, little dreamer. It enters where the watching stops. The body you keep judging is the very loom we dream you on. What do you imagine your softness will cost you that your armor has not already taken?
The Shadow Whisper
When this message is being refused, the whisper is a sentry who cannot stand down: stay ready, stay watching, softness is how you were caught last time. It calls the armor self-respect and the exhaustion discipline. Ask the sentry one question, from the dreamers: what has the watching actually kept out? Count it honestly. Grief came anyway. Loss came anyway. Only the tenderness kept being turned away at the gate — the guard has been searching the wrong visitors all along.
Sit With It
Tonight, before sleep, lie down as if the bed were the canoe and the night were the water: hands open at your sides, nothing gripped. Say to the southern sky: "Teach me heart-spaced trust — gently, and with grace." Then let one specific guard stand down until morning: name the thing you will not brace against tonight. Notice, at dawn, that you were carried.
