The Miracle of a Lifetime

I·10 · The Solar Realm

The Transmission

You keep asking for a miracle while standing in the middle of one. Grandfather Sun has risen on you ten thousand mornings — how many did you attend? The miracle is not coming. It is here, waiting on your arrival. When will you be present at your own lifetime?

The Shadow Whisper

When this message is being refused, someday takes the chair: when the healing is done, when the house is quiet, when the season turns — then I will live. The whisper spends your dawns to purchase a morning that does not exist. Hear the count plainly, because the elders keep it even when you will not: every dawn you miss is not postponed. It is spent. The miracle does not punish your absence — it simply proceeds, complete, unwitnessed, like a fire no one sat beside. That it will also be there tomorrow is its mercy. That you were not there today is the only loss in the whole design.

Sit With It

Tomorrow, be there for one entire sunrise. Bring nothing. Ask for nothing. Watch it from first gray to full gold as if it were addressed to you — because it is. When it is fully risen, say only: thank you. Then notice, for the rest of the day, that you were present at a miracle before breakfast.
