A monarch butterfly starts out as a stripy caterpillar whose whole job is eating leaves. Then everything changes — and out come wings like orange stained glass, strong enough to fly to a whole other country. Big changes might be coming for you too. A new school. A new house. A big sibling leaving for college. Your own self, growing. The middle of a change feels like the cocoon part: dark, squishy, and strange. That is normal. That is where the wings get made.
