The Sleeping Rainbow Warriors
The Transmission
You keep asking when the helpers will come — the healers, the builders, the great gathering of hearts. Dear one, we keep the roll, and your name is on it. You are the helpers, sleeping in. A warrior dreaming of the gathering is still a warrior absent from it. While you wait to be gathered — who is waiting on you?
The Shadow Whisper
When this message is being refused, the whisper keeps you in the bedroll politely: not ready yet; when the others rise, I'll rise; what difference can one make before the gathering comes? Hear the arithmetic it is running, and hear it break: every sleeping warrior on the roll is being told the same sentence at the same hour — and one is too few is exactly how an entire gathering sleeps through its own age. You are not early, and you are not alone. You are only not yet visible. Waiting for the gathering is the delay of it.
Sit With It
This week, rise for one dawn and begin the work you have been postponing until there are others — and begin it findably: tell one person, plainly, what you are building, healing, or guarding. That telling is your beacon; light it. Then keep your own roll: a page where you write the name of each one who leans toward the work as they appear. Watch it over one moon. Gatherings begin exactly this size.
