Reclaiming Your Energy
The Seven Healing Spreads
A healing spread by Ma'hara
A tracing of where your energy leaks out to others, and how it returns to you. Bring this for the over-giver and the empath — the one who feels everyone's weather, who says yes before checking with their own body, who ends the day emptied and cannot always say where it went. It is for the person whose care is real and whose boundaries are thin, who has confused merging with love and depletion with generosity. Bring it when the tank is low and the leak is invisible, when you need to see exactly where you're pouring out and how to close the valve without closing the heart.
The positions
- 1. Where your energy lives nowthe honest state of your reserves: not the story that you're fine, but the actual level, and what it feels like in the body to be at that level.
- 2. Where it leaksthe specific relationship, role, or reflex the energy pours out through; the yes you keep saying, the feeling you keep carrying that was never yours.
- 3. What the leaking earns youwhy the over-giving persists, because it does something: the belonging you think you're buying, the conflict you're avoiding, the worth you're trying to prove by depleting yourself.
- 4. Your energy, returnedthe coherent state where the current flows back to you; care that lets the other breathe and lets you keep yourself. This is the restoring card.
How to read it
Start at the center — the sitter's actual reserves — before you look at the leak, or you'll treat a symptom. Card 2 is frequently a Heart or Ground Field card; the leak has a location in the sitter's life, and naming it exactly is half the work. Card 3 is the tender one: the over-giver rarely leaks for no reason, and the reason is usually a worth wound or a fear of losing belonging. Do not shame it. Card 4 restores — feeling yours apart from feeling theirs, care that no longer costs the self.
How it closes in the body
Close on card 4, your energy, returned. Guide its Somatic Anchor so the sitter feels their own edges — where they end and another begins — and feels the energy settle back inside those edges. This is a boundary made in the body, not the mind: a felt sense of this is mine, this is me, this stays. Wait until they feel filled, even slightly, before you close.
